Hyundai introduced its cutting-edge three-door coupe Veloster a world premiere at the IAA. The Veloster 2012 offers innovation for compact coupe segment with a single door, the third rear seat easily accessible, Hyundai Blue Link telematics system, Pandora Internet Radio with seven-inch touch screen and a new 1.6-liter four-cylinder direct injection coupled to the transmission of the first dual-clutch Hyundai.

Veloster unique design inspired by high-performance sport bike. Veloster has distinctive white columns, which give the glass a motorcycle helmet visor look. The front has an aggressive form of the hexagonal front grille Hyundai, hood scoops in detail, and only Hyundai-signature LED position lights. Option packages for Chrome grille surround, piano black highlights, fog lights, sunroof, and a massive overview.
On profile Veloster features "Fluidic Sculpture" character lines, muscular wheel arches, door handles and mirrors bodycolor, and the headlights and taillights envelop. Veloster comes standard with alloy wheels of 17 inches and offers two 18-inch wheels. The top of the line 18-inch wheel comes with painted inserts, a first segment.
Veloster dynamic rear hatch design distinctive glass two chrome exhaust tips and black lower fascia approach, which complements the front fascia sign.
The third door.
Veloster combines the style of a coupe and a sedan functionality, while incorporating an additional passenger-side door. In the past, some have used smaller cut rear-hinged access doors. These cuts have always been compromised by having to open the door before the rear driver's door can be opened, turns out to be embarrassing for the driver and passenger, and extremely difficult to handle in tight parking situations. Taking charge of Hyundai implements a conventional hinged door on the passenger side of the Veloster, providing safe and ready access to the seats with enough room in the back. The rear door handles hidden side to keep the design.
Gamma 1.6 GDI engine.
The new Gamma 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine is the smallest Hyundai to use the gasoline direct injection (GDI). GDI technology can offer fuel economy of 40 mpg estimated highway, low emissions and higher reliability.
"The technology of gasoline direct injection may be Hyundai engineers to create an engine that is powerful, fuel consumption and lower emissions," said Hyundai America Technical Center Inc. (Hatch) powertrain director John Juriga. "Despite its small size, produces some great numbers, as well as impressive power output and up to 40 mpg on the highway."
