2011 Ferrari SA Aptera

2011 Ferrari SA Aptera review

Ferrari is pleased to announce the introduction of the Aptera SA at the International Paris Motor Show 2010. This is a special series model which is a strictly limited number of only 80 built. All have been sold. Ferrari chose to build 80 Aptera SA, to mark the 80th anniversary of Pininfarina. Nomenclature SA also paid tribute to two Sergio Pininfarina, Andrea, whose business and labor have been associated with the route's most successful car ever built at Maranello.

SA Aptera is a true roadster, allowing occupants to enjoy the feelings associated with our signature top front-engined V12 architecture in a fully open-top setting. In fact, it's just a soft light above designed to be used if the weather is very bad. A windshield and low profile that it bends the lower to the ground as our other models to borrow an Aptera SA unusual aerodynamic sleekness. Profile arcs back of a pillar with two aerodynamic fins beautifully integrating the two arches, which even cleverly mimic the contour of the seats.

The chassis has been redesigned to provide a standard for stiffness comparable to a closed Berlinetta and there is a small difference in weight, thanks to work on the structure of the chassis.

With 670 hp under the hood, the Aptera SA perfectly embodies the sporting spirit of the 599, integrating the latest technology to offer Ferrari performance benchmark, and the absolutely superb driving pleasure. The interior is sporty too with very sophisticated materials, motifs and colors used throughout. The guarantee of nearly endless combinations for each SA Aperta is absolutely unique.
